Panpipes can be played by musicians and non-musicians alike. Most students ten years of age and older can learn to play panpipes regardless of their musical ability. Playing panpipes is both challenging and fun, and it teaches hand-eye coordination, listening, concentration, and group collaboration skills.

We have developed a system whereby the student first learns the melody by ear, by listening to the enclosed recordings, and then follows numbered charts by blowing into the panpipes with the corresponding numbers.

Panpipe playing is an ancient tradition in the Bolivian and Peruvian Andean region ( i.e., the Andes Mountains in South America). The Culture Kit will teach you how to make and play panpipes in two sizes, using inexpensive hardware store supplies. The Culture Kit contains drawings and videos that show you how to assemble and play the panpipes.
